Reggie Fowler, Chairman & CEO

Reggie Fowler is a proven leader, insightful manager and creative visionary who has successfully operated and managed Spiral and its associated companies for the past 20 years. Under his guidance, Spiral has grown from a single distribution company to a collection of more than 33 companies.  Mr. Fowler's strong work ethic and high standards have become synonymous with the operating practices of each and every entity within the Spiral collection of companies. Mr. Fowler's background includes management positions in manufacturing, finance, aerospace, real estate development and distribution. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arizona.


George Unruh, CPA – CFO

George Unruh is a seasoned executive and financial professional whose career spans public accounting, real estate development, manufacturing, banking, global engineering and construction, transportation, healthcare and education.  Mr. Unruh was previously with the Bechtel Corporation, TMI Systems Design Corporation and Vaberg Properties.  Mr. Unruh is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in both Arizona and North Dakota.  Among his accomplishments are a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Dakota, Certified Six Sigma Champion and a graduate of Phil Crosby Executive Quality College.

Larry Assenheimer – Controller/Accounting Manager

Larry Assenheimer served as CFO for US Foodservice, Smith Pipe and Steel, and Grandberry Supply, and was Vice President of Operations for Southwest Hardware Company.  Mr. Assenheimer is responsible for accounting management within the entertainment, convenience and manufacturing groups at Spiral.  He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Accounting and Economics.

J.A. "Monty" Montgomery – Controller/Accounting Manager

Monty Montgomery has worked for some of the most prestigious accounting firms in the world including Arthur Anderson and Alexander Grant. He operated his own C.P.A. firm for more than 20 years, specializing in taxation, and founded a custom log-home company.  Mr. Montgomery oversees specific accounting and administration activities for Spiral-affiliated companies including daily coordination with the accounting personnel of each division and completion of monthly reports. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington.

 
Chris Shockley – Payroll & Benefits Manager

Chris Shockley joined Spiral in 2006 after several years in the travel industry. He brings an expertise in compliance issues, government reporting and employee relations, and he was responsible for rolling out both a direct deposit and pay card system for a diverse multi-state payroll.  Mr. Shockley continues to modernize and streamline the company’s Human Resources practices and is responsible for benefits administration and payroll processing. Mr. Shockley attended the University of Alaska.
